A reminder from Bike Austin – tonight is the night (the first in a series around town) to tell the city what you want from the Master Bike Plan:
When voters passed the 2016 Mobility Bond last November, Austin residents secured over $20 million for protected bike infrastructure throughout the city. Now, Austin’s Active Transportation Department(ATD) is working to install safe, comfortable bike infrastructure as soon as possible.
To do this, ATD needs local residents to help prioritize these projects at upcoming Walk + Bike Open Houses. Will you attend their Central Austin meeting to speak up for protected bike lanes, and help prioritize which infrastructure gets built first?
Central Austin Walk + Bike Open Hosue
Wednesday, March 1st
City Hall Room 1029, 301 W 2nd St
A strong showing of support for high-priority bike lanes is critical to the construction of a world-class protected bike lane network in Austin. RSVP for your neighborhood Walk + Bike Open House today and be a party of shaping Austin’s bicycling future!
